Boilerhouse Gallery

Frances helped start ‘Boilerhouse Gallery’ in 2002, a co-operative gallery based at Sandy Hill Workshops to promote the artists there.

The gallery has developed over time as artists have come and gone. Now it also shows the work of other local artists from Purbeck. Despite being tucked away from the main road, this innovative gallery has increased in popularity and shows a varied and high standard of art and crafts, wood, paintings, stone, jewellery, glass, photography and of course pottery.

It’s present location is next to the pottery, and is well worth a visit, with changing exhibitions throughout the year.
